Quick FAQ

Is Aurora Ministries a 501(c)(3)?

Yes. Aurora Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Where does my donation go?

Your gift helps fund scholarships, resources, and steady behind-the-scenes support—including the systems, accountability, and day-to-day coordination that protect the mission and help women receive consistent support.

Who do you serve?

We serve women facing hardship who need hope, support, and a clear path forward—especially adoptive and foster moms, women rebuilding after incarceration, and women in ministry/kingdom work experiencing burnout.

Do you provide direct financial assistance?

Not typically. Our focus is funding support pathways (scholarships, resources, and care coordination) that help women rebuild with stability and hope.

How can I get involved besides giving?

You can pray, share our mission, volunteer when opportunities are available, or partner as a church, business, or community organization.

Financial Transparency

Where does my donation go? (more detail)

Your gift helps fund scholarships, resources, and steady behind-the-scenes support—including the systems, accountability, and day-to-day coordination that protect the mission and help women receive consistent support.

That means your generosity can help cover things like:

- Scholarship funding so women can access faith-based support and resources

- Program coordination and communication so women aren’t left to navigate hard seasons alone

- Stewardship essentials like administration, compliance, and donor care—so the mission stays healthy, trustworthy, and sustainable.

Why do you include administrative/operational support?

Because mission work requires stewardship.

The visible moments of impact are only possible when there is faithful planning, coordination, follow-up, and accountability behind the scenes. We include operational support so women receive consistent care and so every gift is handled with integrity.

Do you share budget percentages?

We can—as our reporting cadence is established.

In this season, we focus on clear categories (scholarships, resources, and operational support) and responsible stewardship without making percentage claims that can be misleading. As Aurora Ministries grows, we plan to share clearer financial snapshots and reporting.

Can I restrict my gift to a specific purpose?

If you’d like your gift to be used for a specific purpose (for example, scholarships), we’ll do our best to honor that whenever possible.

If a restricted purpose becomes impractical or no longer aligns with current needs, Aurora Ministries will apply the gift to the closest mission-aligned use—always with responsible stewardship.

Do you fund services delivered through other organizations?

Sometimes.

Aurora Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Some scholarship-funded services and resources may be delivered through trusted delivery partners—which may include Aurora Network (a separate, for-profit organization)—as part of a scholarship pathway.

In plain language: your gift supports the mission of Aurora Ministries, and scholarships may cover services/resources that are provided through trusted partners.

Giving

What are the best ways to give?

Most donors give online through our secure giving page. You may also be able to give by check (if offered on the Donate page).

Do you offer monthly giving?

Yes. Monthly giving helps create steady, consistent support for women and strengthens long-term planning.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. You’ll receive a donation receipt for your records.

Programs + Support

How do women receive support?

Support may include scholarship-funded pathways, resources, and coordinated care. We aim to serve with dignity, clarity, and consistency.

Can someone apply for support?

Yes—when applications are open.

We may open support pathways in seasons based on capacity and funding. If an application link is available, it will be clearly listed on the website.

Do you provide counseling or clinical services?

Aurora Ministries is not a clinical provider. We offer faith-based support and resources, and we may refer individuals to appropriate professional care when needed.

Partnerships + Volunteering

How can my church or organization partner with you?

We welcome partnerships that align with our mission and values. Partnerships may include sponsorship, hosting support pathways, resource distribution, or serving opportunities.

Do you accept volunteers?

Yes—as opportunities are available.

Volunteer roles may include event support, administrative help, resource packing/fulfillment, prayer teams, or community outreach.
